Marbach Group invests in Poland

After the two traditional Polish plants in Tarnowskie Góry and Kielce, a new plant with 50 employees is added in Poznan.

Heilbronn-based cutting-die manufacturer Marbach is on course for expansion. In addition to its activities in Mexico, China and the USA, Marbach is now expanding its capacities in Poland.

Following the two traditional Polish plants in Tarnowskie Góry and Kielce, which together employ around 175 people, a new plant is being built in Poznan with 50 employees.

The demand for Marbach tools has increased steadily in Poland in recent years. The only way to satisfy the demand sustainably was to expand the existing capacities. When the opportunity arose to take over our competitor, Wykrojniki Polskie Sp.Z o.o., we did not think twice. Especially as the majority of our customers come from the Poznan region. This investment will enable us to expand our Production capacity increased by almost 20 % increase. This will enable us to meet the increasing demand and make us more flexible. The new location in western Poland will enable us to provide our customers with even better local support.“

The contract for the sale was signed on 2 September. Marbach will take over all employees of Wykrojniki Polskie Sp.Z o.o.. The new site has an area of 1,350 m², of which 950 m² production area.

With immediate effect, the company in Poznan will be run as a Marbach site. Marbach guidelines will be introduced at the new location by the end of 2019 and production capacities will be expanded. This includes investing in new machines, new software, new structures and employee training. On 01.01.2020, the Complete integration of the new location into the Marbach Group.
