Integrate functional information into circuit diagrams with „eCl@ss

Bonn-based AmpereSoft GmbH will be exhibiting at SPS 2019 with a sophisticated software solution for faster and simpler creation of circuit diagrams and electrical designs. The main focus will be on the new version 11.0 of the „eCl@ss“ product data standard.

Bonn-based AmpereSoft GmbH will be exhibiting at SPS 2019 with a sophisticated software solution for faster and simpler creation of circuit diagrams and electrical designs. The main focus will be on the new version 11.0 of the „eCl@ss“ product data standard.

One of the most important innovations in the „eCl@ss“ standard is, according to AmpereSoft the option of mapping the functionalities of a product in addition to physical specifications. AmpereSoft believes that this functionality makes it much easier for users to operate the software. Until now, it has not been economically possible for software manufacturers to Symbols that describe the functionality of certain products. Users would now be able to describe the functions themselves and assign suitable symbols to them.

Users now save a lot of effort

The new function is of great benefit to users, as it saves a lot of time and effort, emphasises AmpereSoft's Managing Director Stefan Mülhens. For economic reasons alone, manufacturers do not have the option of supplying all the required symbols. This is because hardly any software manufacturer can supply all the different Functions and areas of application of its customers„ products and labelling them with a suitable symbol. As this is too time-consuming and costly, this work previously had to be carried out by the design engineer. “This is no longer justifiable today," says Stefan Mülhens.

Another focal point at the AmpereSoft stand will be the smooth flow of data between the AmpereSoft tool system and other applications. Visitors will learn how the uncomplicated connection to accompanying solutions such as the ERP works.
