Metsä Board, a leading European producer of premium fresh fibre paperboards and a Metsä Group company, is proud to have been awarded Gold status for sustainability and corporate social responsibility in the EcoVadis rating for the third consecutive year.
Overall, Metsä Board was ranked among the top 1% corrugated and paperboard manufacturers assessed by EcoVadis.

On the platform operated by EcoVadis, companies can assess the social and environmental responsibility of their suppliers on a global level. Four criteria are included in the assessment: Environment, labour conditions, sustainable supply chain and fair business practices.
The methodological approach and the criteria correspond to the international CSR standards (Corporate Social Responsibility), including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and ISO 26000.
