Now condoms are also becoming sustainable. With its new PRO NATURE product line, Ritex from Bielefeld wants to set a milestone in terms of sustainability. The actual product is still made of rubber - the packaging is made of grass fibre and recycled paper.

When „men“ use contraception, it is still not possible without rubber. However, Ritex natural condoms are made from 100″ FSC-certified natural rubber. In addition, Ritex uses EKOenergy electricity and climate-neutral Ökoplus natural gas in production. Ritex has also been breaking new ground in the packaging of its condoms for some time now. The sales boxes are made from an innovative mix of grass fibre and recycled paper.

„Sustainability has now become an important purchasing criterion for consumers, and not just for foods such as fruit and vegetables. And that's why we are promoting the new Ritex PRO NATURE range with its well thought-out, ecologically orientated product concept“
Robert Richter, Managing Director Ritex GmbH

TV advert plays with eco clichés

The new PRO NATURE product range is being launched with a broad-based TV, online and social media campaign, which will be played out from July to September with a focus on TV. The message: the topic of sustainability no longer has anything to do with renunciation or pointing fingers. Ritex PRO NATURE is the contemporary synthesis of „eco“ and „highest quality made in Germany“.
