Kraiburg TPE has now presented a new material solution for pharmaceutical packaging, which is intended to benefit primary packaging for solid and liquid medicines.
These are New compounds in the thermoplastic product group® M, which have been specially developed for applications that require basic medical approval and must fulfil food regulations. The translucent compounds can be dyed, have good mechanical properties, can be sterilised and are free from PVC, silicone, latex and animal ingredients.
Safe seals and valves
The new addition to the thermoplastic® M has now been specially developed to protect the medication from unwanted environmental influences, changes or contamination. It is suitable for the primary packaging of solid and liquid medicines and sprays. Among other things seals, valves and flexible connections benefit from the new material series.
Another criterion: Buyers can use a service package for medically compliant products that fulfils all requirements for fully-fledged medical grade plastic in accordance with VDI 2017, among other things, in view of the Medical Device Regulation coming into force in early summer 2021.
