Jabil Packaging Solutions is expanding its production capacities for sustainable packaging. The division of Jabil Inc. has acquired Ecologic Brands, a specialist in paper bottle technology and paper-based packaging solutions.
Through the acquisition of Ecologic Brands based in Manteca, California, is building Jabil Packaging Solutions its range of products and services Paper bottles from. Ecologic Brands offers a market-ready solution here. According to the company, major brands such as L'Oréal and Seventh Generation use Ecologic's eco.bottle® bottles to achieve their sustainability goals.
Paper bottles as a more sustainable alternative
„By combining Ecologic's unique paper bottle technology with Jabil's advanced manufacturing solutions and global reach, we aim to help all consumer brands dramatically reduce the use of plastics in packaging worldwide,“ explains Jason Paladino, Senior Vice President of Jabil and CEO of Jabil Packaging Solutions.
The paper bottles will continue to be marketed under the Ecologic name.
