Successfully pre-certified FFP design: A three-litre bag-in-box from Smurfit Kappa is the first packaging to be awarded the "Frustration Free Packaging" certificate by Amazon.
Companies that sell on the Amazon Marketplace can now use this Ready-made, pre-certified bag-in-box packaging design use. In future, they will no longer have to rely on time-consuming tests in a specialised ISTA-certified laboratory to obtain FFP certification. According to Smurfit Kappa, this is a World first for a generic packaging design that can be used for a wide range of products.
The Bag-in-Box, part of the eBottle portfolios from Smurfit Kappais a packaging solution for the Transport of liquids like juices and wine in the E-Commerce. It is robust enough to protect the product during transport, while the shape allows for optimal logistical efficiency and handling. The bag-in-box uses on average 75 % less plastic than rigid plastic packaging and has materials that are easy to separate, guaranteeing high recycling rates.
