Schütz and Bayern-Fass have been working together for decades on the reconditioning of industrial packaging. Now the companies are deepening their partnership by Schütz acquiring a minority stake in Bayern-Fass.
The common goal is to Further advancing the circular economy and to further increase the level of service and quality - all in the interests of sustainability.

A key component of this is the reconditioning of IBCs has been an integral part of Bayern-Fass' service portfolio since 1992. The close partnership with Contactor was already manifested in 2015: In this year, Bayern-Fass was the first independent specialist company to be accepted into the Recobulk partner programme of the globally active packaging manufacturer. As part of this programme, the company adopted the globally standardised process standards of Schütz. This means that the Schütz IBCs reconditioned by Bayern-Fass correspond to the Schütz Recobulk in terms of quality, safety and conformity.
With around 300 employees and four locations in Germany, the long-established company is now one of the leading reconditioners in Europe. International standards document the high quality standard. Bayern-Fass has been certified both as a specialised waste management company and for its quality and environmental management system.
