Since 1998, the Dr Richard Escales Prize has been awarded to plastics experts who have rendered outstanding services to technical training and knowledge transfer in this field. The call for entries for this year's prize is now open.
The Dr Richard Escales Prize is awarded to individuals, who have a technical education in plastics technology and pass on this knowledge in a special way, for example, through publications - from specialist articles and specialist books to digital forms of communication, even across specialist disciplines. Individuals from industry who have launched outstanding innovations or initiatives in the field of plastics technology can also receive the award.
Proposals can be submitted immediately (confidentially) submitted by 30 May 2022 become, From June, the jury will then deliberate on all the proposals received and selects the award winners.
The awarding of the Dr Richard Escales Prize, which traditionally takes place on the first evening of the K trade fair, will be jointly organised again on 19 October 2022 by Carl Hanser Verlag and the Association of German Tool and Mould Makers (VDWF).
