The food company Kellogg Germany believes it is well on track with its ten-year sustainability plan for 2021. So far, it expects to save more than 1,000 tonnes of packaging material by the end of 2022.

„At Kellogg, we are committed to producing the best food, to support society and have a positive impact on the planet. We have already made great progress - especially when it comes to reducing emissions and optimising our recipes without compromising on taste,“ says Oliver Bruns, Managing Director of the company for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In addition to savings on the packaging used For example, it is planned to reduce the size of the muesli bags by ten per cent while maintaining the same amount of content - the company says it supplies 100 per cent of its production facilities in Western Europe with electricity from renewable energy sources.
