With the new MH2 the German manufacturer Expresso is now presenting a mobile scissor lift table that can be folded to a depth of just 280 millimetres, transforms into a transport trolley in no time at all and weighs just 25 kilograms.
Lift tables are among the classics of handling and positioning technology. As soon as heavy components, units or devices have to be lifted, lowered and provided in intralogistics, lift tables prove their worth as easy-to-use lifting equipment. The new MH2 from Expresso is tailored to tasks in intralogistics and in the service sector that require A high degree of handling flexibility require. Thanks to its design, the mobile lift table with classic scissor mechanism sometimes as a lifting and lowering system, sometimes as a mobile workbench and sometimes as a means of transport.
As it can be folded to a width of just 280 mm, it can be stowed away to save space and its low weight of just under 25 kilograms makes it particularly easy to transport. for service and MRO teams on tour a versatile means of lifting and transport.
All the user needs for handling is a cordless screwdriver with a hexagon bit. This is used to a compact drive consisting of a small worm gear unit and two bi-directional textile belts in action, which is used to unfold the folded lift table and operate the lifting and lowering mechanism.
On the table surface (600 x 1,000 mm), loads weighing up to 100 kilograms can be lifted with a high degree of accuracy of 229 to 883 millimetres - for example to provide, feed or position them. Similarly, the extended MH2 can also be used as a mobile workbench for assembly or repair work or as an in-house transport trolley for complete assemblies, appliances and devices.
From lift table to sack truck
When folded, the MH2 as a manual transport device similar to a sack truck - provided that the trolley shovel has been attached beforehand, which For loads weighing up to 40 kilograms is designed. During stationary lift table or workbench use, on the other hand, two lockable swivel castors ensure stability and localised stability.
With this combination solution Expresso has created a system that can be used flexibly in intralogistics. Thanks to its variability, the MH2 as an internal material flow system for a wide variety of tasks.
The development of the new MH2 to a series product was the result of the project business in which the Kassel-based manufacturer Customised handling and transport systems in many different industries realised.
