Etimex Primary Packaging has been awarded the ISCC Plus certificate, taking a further step towards reducing CO2-footprint. The aim is to consider the entire supply chain of raw materials and to certify the operating sites individually.
Systems that promote the sustainability of raw materials in production and processing as well as the replacement of fossil raw materials with renewable raw materials are becoming increasingly important. Etimex also decided in favour of this approach many years ago and continues to pursue this goal, to bring more sustainability to the packaging industry. With the Etimex Green Map the company has also anchored this guideline at a strategic level - as a signpost towards greater environmental awareness.
On this path, it was a special milestone for the company to one of the first manufacturers of plastic films and applications who have successfully completed the ISCC PLUS audit with a certificate.
„A further step towards our sustainable commitment to reducing the overall CO2-footprint. We are ready.“
