At a customer event in France, United Caps presented new closures and lids for dairy products and infant formula. With its close-to-you strategy, the company wants to open up new business areas in both sectors and be closer to its customers. 

At the event United Caps presented a new product that has been specially developed to meet the needs of the baby food and dairy markets. The customised Biostime closure for the Health & Happiness Group is a holistic packaging solution. Due to its extensive expertise in this area, more than half of the caps produced are customised. The company's products are customised to meet specific customer requirements.

The company is recognised as Industry standard for snap-on lids and spoons for powdered milk cans for infant formula recognised. Brand owners and bottlers are also advised on how to optimise the shelf impact of the products. The labeller responsible for the Health & Happiness Group developed Biostime closure is an example of the bi-injection manufacturing process.

The company is also an industry leader in the development of tethered caps (TC). The EU directive also affects some producers of dairy products. As a result, the company is introducing a tethered cap as part of its UCTC product range. New range of caps permanently attached to the bottle which promises maximum compliance with the EU directive with minimum disruption to its milk customers.
