Ten years ago, Marbach opened its first location in the USA in Charlotte. Since then, the company has continued to grow in the American market and is now celebrating the 10th anniversary of its subsidiary.
Since May 2012 Marbach also successfully produces punching tools in the USA. In Charlotte, the company manufactures Tools for the folding carton, corrugated board and cigarette industries. In addition, special technical tools (thermoforming steel strip). American customers are offered everything from the cutting die to the counter-die, the right stripping and blanking tool, embossing tools and solutions for in-house cutting die production.
„We started in 2012 with our branch in Charlotte, North Carolina, with 12 employees in an area of 1,100 m2. In recent years, we have continued to expand this location, so that we now employ 62 people in Charlotte in an area of 3,400 m2.“

Today Marbach America is, in terms of sales, the Group's second-largest national company after Germany. From its locations in the USA (Charlotte, Michigan City) and Mexico, the company supports and supplies the entire North and South American market with punching tools.
„The investment in a state-of-the-art production facility in the USA has proven to be an important step in our global expansion policy and has quickly paid off. Due to the great success of our US site in Charlotte, we opened another American site in Michigan City in 2019, where we specialise in folding carton and corrugated board tools. We started there in 2019 with 10 employees, and today - 3 years later - we already have 30 employees there. We have also had a site in Mexico since 2019.“
