How do you automate transport in logistics and production as simply as possible? How do you make it easier for customers to start automating material flow processes without high investment costs and lengthy software projects? With the Leo family, Bito-Lagertechnik claims to have the simplest series of automated guided vehicle systems (AGVs) available on the market in its portfolio.
All vans from Bito can be installed and commissioned by the user. The systems can be integrated into different processes and, depending on the application, can be used as a means of transport for containers and cartons in the warehouse., as buffer storage in production or as a replacement for assembly lines.
Launched in 2021, the Leo custom can be supplemented with customised superstructures depending on the task, making it a variable AGV solution that enables simple automation of material transport in production.
The Leo product family continues to grow and adapt to the various market trends. At automatica Munich, the company will be presenting the latest developments in the Leo family. The Leo flow is designed for space-saving transport in logistics and production. Containers and cardboard boxes are picked up and discharged from the side using powered rollers. In addition, the pick-up and delivery height can be automatically adjusted during operation. This means that the system can be easily combined with existing conveyor technology and many different conveyor systems and installations or automatically operated workstations. The sales launch is still planned for the second quarter of 2022.
