
On 1 July, KraussMaffei splits the New Machines Division into two areas. At the same time, Xiaojun Cui and Lars Hoppe will take over the management of the Business and Operations divisions. The reorganisation is intended to enable the company to work faster and more efficiently worldwide.
Xiaojun Cui, CEO, will take over the global management of the NM Division, Business unit, as of 1 July KraussMaffei China. He will also remain responsible for KraussMaffei China until further notice. Lars Hoppe, currently Vice President Operations, will be responsible for Operations worldwide. The current Head of the NM Division, Dr Volker Nilles, will leave the company on 30 June 2022. Xiaojun Cui and Lars Hoppe will both report to CEO Dr Michael Ruf in their new positions as Executive Vice Presidents.

The Business division will then comprise Sales, R&D and Order Engineering, Project Management and Application & Product Owner, and will in future be headed by Xiaojun Cui. Operations, Quality and Procurement will be headed by Lars Hoppe. Xiaojun Cui has been responsible for business in China as CEO China since 2016. Prior to that, he held leading positions at companies such as Dresser-Rand and Honeywell Process Solutions. Xiaojun Cui has more than thirty years of Experience in technology, project management and strategic consulting.

Lars Hoppe has been Vice President Global Operations at the company since 2021. The mechanical engineer previously held management positions at companies such as Stratocon, Giesecke&Devrient and Dywidag Systems International. Hoppe has many years of experience in the operations and supply chain management as well as the management of global production sites.
