Lifting 75 kilos with just one hand

The Bielefeld-based company Torwegge has a new vacuum tube lifter in its range. The device enables employees to lift, fix and move goods weighing up to 75 kilograms with one hand.

The Bielefeld-based company Torwegge has a new vacuum tube lifter in its range. The device enables employees to lift, fix and move goods weighing up to 75 kilograms with one hand.

"As an integrated system partner for the construction of customised conveyor systems and material flow systems, we are always on the lookout for high-quality and innovative products that can expand our range. The Force-Lift from Aero-Lift belongs to the next generation of vacuum tube lifters and fits perfectly into our requirements profile", says Uwe Eschment, Managing Director at the Torwegge GmbH & Co. KG.

According to the company, the Force-Lift is equally suitable for left and right-handed users and is one of the strongest one-handed tube lifters on the market with a load capacity of up to 75 kilograms. Quick-change suction feet enable the handling of both airtight and porous materials such as cardboard boxes, sacks, canisters, barrels, sheet metal or wood. Thanks to the horizontal rotation function, the load can be rotated up to 360 degrees at any time. The operating element also ensures precise repositioning of loads by 90 degrees from the vertical to the horizontal position. The appliance can remain free-floating in a parked position without transported goods.

Versatile in use

This means that the Force-Lift offers advantages for a wide range of areas and can be used for order picking, loading and unloading, shipping or in the warehouse. "The flexible appliance shows its strengths wherever goods are moved quickly and frequently and is therefore the ideal addition to the tried-and-tested Torwegge solutions for optimising the material flow," says Eschment. The simple guidance of the device also minimises operating errors.

Thanks to the instinctive operability by means of turning and swivelling functions, the transported goods can be manoeuvred without long training periods. According to the company, the ergonomic design also reduces the strain on employees. "Power-intensive work processes are a thing of the past, joint-friendly working is guaranteed. Injuries and downtime for users are avoided," says Eschment. On request, the Force-Lift can also be customised according to the individual requirements of the area of application.
