At every step along the packaging process
Safety technology is needed to reliably protect people, machines and processes. from hazards and disruptions. Euchner combines innovative security technology with today's communication requirements in the Automation of networked machines and systems: The The company's security systems are not available for Ethernet-based Protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet or EtherCat can also be used as in the ASi or IO-Link environment. Integration is simple and significantly reduces the wiring and diagnostic effort.
At the joint Packaging Valley stand Euchner its latest „Industry 4.0-ready“ new developments: the new secure key system CKS2, the particularly compact CTM guard locking device and the new CTS safety switch, which has a particularly high locking force despite its small size.
The CKS2 Electronic-Key system can be used to lock and start machines and systems, to assign authorisations for selecting an operating mode or as a key transfer system. Together with highly coded RFID keys, the CKS2 Electronic-Key adapter forms a secure system with maximum tamper protection. The CTM for bistable guard locking and the highest security level plus hygienic design was specially developed for use on small and lightweight doors, is one of the smallest guard locking systems on the market and is particularly easy to integrate into the machine design.
The new CTS safety switch is a compact powerhouse with high locking force and flexible mounting options. It combines various functions in one appliance that are otherwise only found in individual variants. Users can choose which function they want to use it for. This flexibility is made possible by the new patented „FlexFunction“ concept, in which the function is simply selected using the appropriate actuator.
