At Fachpack, Robatech will be demonstrating new ways of saving energy and adhesive in adhesive application. With this in mind, the company is also presenting a new product.
A new dimension in bonding Robatech with another new product at Fachpack. The smart Vision melter, the fully insulated Performa heated hose and the SpeedStar Compact application head form the dream team for energy-saving and reliably precise hot melt application on primary and secondary packaging. With this application system, energy savings of around 30 per cent are possible compared to similar systems.
The Vision melter keeps the adhesive viscosity constant and ensures a stable adhesive pressure. With the Smart Terminal - a new type of LED column on the melter - the operating personnel can also recognise from a distance whether the gluing process is running smoothly or whether adhesive needs to be refilled, for example. The Performa heated hose is quickly and easily connected to the application head and the melter using the PrimeConnect plug-and-play coupling.
And with the electric spray head SpeedStar Compact shows Robatech, how valuable the automatic stroke control is: the intelligent control electronics ensure the precise application of millimetre-sized hot melt dots and short beads - and that consistently over the entire service life of 500 million operating cycles.
