At the end of September, Optima opened its new service hub in Knightdale, North Carolina, in a festive ceremony. The company develops customised filling and process solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry and is creating space for exchange and innovation with the new hub.
"It is a very significant step for Optima Pharma to open a local representative office here in Knightdale. In doing so, we are creating the conditions for optimal support for our customers in this important region."
Ulrich UnterrikerManaging Director of Optima Machinery Corporation in Green Bay, WI
After a ceremonial welcome, Unterriker explained the plans to further expand the service presence in the United States. The presence of Optima Pharma in the American market has been systematically expanded in recent years. For example, service staff will be tripled between 2019 and the end of 2022. In his keynote speech, Gerhard Breu, Chairman of the Optima Pharma Division, emphasised the importance of the integrated solutions from Optima Pharma as a turnkey partner and emphasised the importance of local support and the development of regional experts.
In cooperation with the Green Bay branch, the new Service Hub offers both remote support and on-site support at the customer's premises. The ultra-modern Meeting and training rooms provide space for on-site maintenance and operator training as well as for meetings with sales and service experts. As spare parts are stored directly on site, optimum availability is guaranteed. Comprehensive qualification of the pharmaceutical systems rounds off the range of services.
