The melt management system has been at the heart of achieving the highest end quality in plastic products for decades. The best articles can only be produced from the best possible melt quality. The comprehensive Understanding the rheological behaviour of different plastics enables the production of containers with optimum weight and the right mechanical properties, which Kautex refers to as „right weighting“. In addition, lower melt temperatures increase output and faster changeover times further improve efficiency.
The production of a blow moulded product also includes optimised Up- and downstream automation solutions. Together with strategic partners (BeOne), the company develops solutions for the best possible product quality and maximum output. When the focus is on the blow-moulded end product, in-house mould making also plays an important role at Kautex Maschinenbau. For selected applications, customers receive the blow moulding tools and prototypes for their product from a single source. This can also significantly reduce lead times.
