With the SAROGREEN concept, the company has been supporting customers for years in optimising their film packaging and reducing its impact on the climate. Through detailed calculations, purchasing customers can now be increasingly involved in climate protection measures. become. Many customers actively support the climate protection commitment and buy climate-neutral products or participate in the corresponding CO₂ compensation for their purchased products.
Saropack supports regional and exclusively certified myclimate climate protection projects. The projects to protect the raised bogs in the Alps and the carbon offset project to renaturalise the Königsmoor in Schleswig-Holstein are a particular priority. The gcompensation contributions for the Saropack organisation and sites, as well as the contributions from customers are now sufficient for the company to call itself a «climate-neutral company» for the first time as of November 2022.
