At this year's LogiMat, automation expert Pilz will be showcasing solutions for the automation of automated guided vehicles (AGVs). In addition to product solutions, the company also offers complementary services.
At Pilz, trade fair visitors will experience how AGVs can be safely automated and operated, taking into account all spatial and infrastructural conditions. In action on the FTS trade fair model: the safety laser scanner PSENscan for collision protection of people and AGVs, the modular safety relay myPNOZ resp. The configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 as safe evaluation units and the Industrial Firewall SecurityBridge for tamper protection. In combination, the safe and secure product solution - whether for track-bound or freely navigating AGVs - ensures efficient intralogistics processes by avoiding downtimes and thus increasing productivity.
Comprehensive service package
In addition to the product solution for manufacturers of AGVs, Pilz will also be presenting its comprehensive service package for operators of AGVs at LogiMat. from the development of security concepts through to commissioning, including training programmes for employees. The normative framework for this is the relevant ISO 3691-4. On request, Pilz employees can support operators right through to international conformity assessment (such as CE labelling) and thus assume responsibility for the safe implementation of the AGV application.
Comprehensive identification and access management is a solution that combines safety and industrial security to protect intralogistics processes from manipulation or incorrect operation. For example, the PITreader access authorisation system can be used to protect mobile applications from unauthorised access and entry. Users receive their individual authorisations on a compact RFID transponder, which they use to authorise themselves directly at the process. Pilz employees will be demonstrating to trade fair visitors on site how the solution can be flexibly implemented in practice.
