New products from Mosca at LogiMAT

With the TechCenter and the new SoniXs TR-Connect, Mosca has two innovations in store for visitors at this year's LogiMAT.

Mosca has two innovations in store for visitors at this year's LogiMAT. The company will be providing insights into its TechCentre, where customers can test packaging solutions, and will also be presenting the new SoniXs TR-Connect.

„Mosca is much more than just a machine manufacturer. We see ourselves as a strong partner for our customers“ sustainability and digitalisation projects. This is exactly what we want to demonstrate with our stand at LogiMAT."

In return Mosca more than just its own machines at this year's trade fair stand: a Tilt Testing Tool enables visitors to experience quality checks on strapped products at first hand. Although the test machine is not part of the Mosca portfolio, it is part of Mosca's own TechCentre. The high-tech test centre in Waldbrunn enables customers to subject their loading units and transport securing devices to various stress tests and optimise them for sustainability and resource savings.

„Many companies only realise that their transport securing system cannot withstand high loads when the worst comes to the worst. This is precisely why we developed the Mosca TechCentre as a service solution: Here, customers can check a wide range of loads and their impact on the load unit and adapt their packaging in good time. Our stand at LogiMAT will give customers an initial insight into how the Mosca TechCenter works.“

To this end, the stand strapped product pallets are moved into the Tilt Testing Tool and tested for their transport securityThe machine tilts the pallets to a certain angle in order to test the stability of the composite on inclines.

„In our TechCenter, customers can also run many other tests, from acceleration tests and vibrations to shocks and crushing forces. The Mosca TechCenter is therefore well equipped to enable our customers to carry out exactly the tests that are relevant to their own transport route.“

The new SoniXs TR-Connect will also be celebrating at the LogiMAT its market launch. However, the basic principle of the high-tech machine is tried and tested: With the TR-Connect, the company is now combining the two models SoniXs TR-6 Base and TR-6 Pro.

„With the new TR-Connect, we are giving our customers more flexibility in the further development and networking of their packaging line. Anyone who previously opted for a SoniXs TR-6 Base and later needed the functions of the Pro version had to replace the entire machine. The TR-Connect, on the other hand, can be flexibly customised at any time and has all the functions that users need for Industry 4.0 applications.“

Andreas Ding, Mosca Innovation Manager

Above all, this includes a Integrated WebHMI, with which users can view all performance-related machine data such as availability and quality at any time can. The interface also makes commissioning and operating the SoniXs TR-Connect much easier; the machine can be can be monitored at any time and from anywhere. An optional OPC/UA interface also enables greater flexibility: thanks to compliance with the communication standard, the TR-Connect can be easily connected to a wide variety of interfaces to share information. Also optional is the Mosca Digital package, which includes the use of a tablet for easier adjustment of the machine.
