The two packaging specialists allfo and allvac will be exhibiting together with the Italian system manufacturer Saccardo Arturo at a joint stand. With two new products, they want to show how environmentally friendly food packaging works.
The latest development from the film specialist allvac is a Fully recyclable PA/PE film made of eleven layers of the classic allflex S film and has the same properties as its sister film, with high puncture resistance and good mouldability. The new allflex SR also impresses visually with its gloss and transparency. It is ideal for packaging meat, sausage, fish and cheese.
The specialist for vacuum bags allfo is breaking new ground with its Ecoline. Instead of the usual 90 micrometres, it manages with a thickness of 50 micrometres and can save 45 per cent material compared to conventional PA/PE bags. Ecoline is in no way inferior to „classic“ vacuum bags: PA (polyamide) provides an oxygen barrier and flavour protection, PE (polyethylene) creates a moisture barrier and very good sealing properties. The resource-saving bag thus offers reliable protection for meat and dairy products.
In addition to the two new developments, the companies will also be showcasing their tried and tested solutions. These are sealed edge, tubular and stand-up pouches and new printed vacuum bags from allfo. Film specialist allvac is presenting its high-temperature composite film allflex UHT. It is Suitable for temperatures of up to +121 °C and is highly transparent.
