Traceability is the be-all and end-all in intralogistics. Digitalisation is not stopping here either. The Swiss technology company Scandit offers software that makes it easy to use a smartphone instead of traditional scanners.
With Scandit Express, the successor to Keyboard Wedge, the smart data capture provider Scandit presents a no-code application, that transforms iOS and Android devices into intelligent data collection tools. In contrast to classic barcode scanners, which are not always ideally compatible with other digital processes, the Scandit Express application offers advantages.
According to the company, work processes can be completed up to ten times faster than with conventional barcode scanners. Commissioning is also straightforward. Scandit Express is ready for use in less than 24 hours and requires no additional investment in software integration, as it is compatible with any inventory software in the input field.
Installation is uncomplicated
To get started, IT managers simply need to download and install the Scandit Express barcode scanning app. This gives them immediate and code-free access. The data can then be captured and processed at high speed on Scandit's Smart Data Capture Platform - For example, through end-to-end processes that directly help employees at the point of data collection.
The software also includes other digital data management options for analysing and planning productivity gains, cost savings and process optimisation. Data can also be entered automatically in applications, data tools or even directly in tables.
