Cobotics meets palletising

With the new RoboAccess_Pal S, Sidel brings the possibilities of cobotics to palletising and agility and operability to a small space.

Sidel is bringing a solution for agility and operability in a small space to interpack that is suitable for users from the food, household and personal care product sectors, for example. The new RoboAccess_Pal S brings the possibilities of cobotics to palletising.

For more demanding systems, where robotic arms could enable higher technical performance, the Sidel one All-in-one solution that combines a small footprint with rapid amortisation., The RoboAccess_Pal S combines a higher carton payload with a higher speed. RoboAccess_Pal S offers speeds of up to 12 cycles/min and enables a carton payload of up to 25 kg while at the same time ensuring a fast amortisation period of usually one to two years. With a Footprint of less than 12 m2 for 2 stations and a pallet height of up to 1700 mm the palletising solution delivers a new level of compactness.

„We have developed RoboAccess_Pal S to provide a solution that combines the best of cobotics and robotics and responds to the needs of our customers from a wide range of applications and market categories. With more than 1300 palletising robots worldwide, Sidel has also been leading the implementation of collaborative robots since 2011. Building on this combined expertise, we have delivered an innovative combined result as well as additional brand new features.“

The RoboAccess_Pal S integrates three new patented functions. A weight-reduced clamping head made of carbon fibre with 3D-printed parts contributes to an increase in payload capacity and Reduces the overall footprint of the machine and enables a wide range of secondary packaging to be processed. In addition, the patented foldable protection system ensures plug & play capacities that enable effortless mobility. The new palletising solution will be presented to the public for the first time at interpack.
