CCL acquires pouch production

CCL has acquired Pouch Partners s.r.l. Italy from Pouch Partners AG Switzerland. The company belongs to the Capri Sun Group.

In addition to labels and tags, CCL Industries also wants to focus more on pouches. To this end, the company has now acquired Pouch Partners s.r.l. Italy from Pouch Partners AG Switzerland. The company is part of the Capri-Sun Group based in Switzerland. 

Pouch Partners, currently a supplier of flexible laminates to the Capri Sun Group for the production of its iconic Capri Sun pouches, has been operating as a family business for 50 years and became part of the Capri Sun Group in October 2017. The new company will then operate under the name CCL Speciality Pouches and become an integral part of CCL Label's food and beverage division.

Our mutual customers see them as an interesting alternative to rigid labelled containers. Pouch Partners has a highly focused, deep expertise in these materials, a solid foundation for entering this market. Made from flexible material, the pouches are designed to fit the Minimise the use of packaging material. They are lightweight and reduce the ecological footprint during transport and storage. They have a good packaging-to-product ratio compared to rigid packaging and the Form and format can be adapted precisely to the product volume. which leads to material savings.
