Plant in Poland produces large quantities

The FunctionalBarrier Paper Ultimate range extends Mondi's existing portfolio of FunctionalBarrier Papers and offers high barrier paper-based packaging for food products such as dry food and milk powder as well as for applications in the household and hygiene industry.

The investment in the Solec plant in Poland will enable Mondi to produce the high-barrier functional paper on a large scale using state-of-the-art technology and efficient processes. Production of the FunctionalBarrier Paper Ultimate range on an industrial scale is expected to start in the first quarter of 2024.
