Interzero expands its portfolio with vertical balers

Interzero has acquired Bramin GmbH, which sells baling presses, and intends to expand its offering for small and medium-sized customers.

Interzero has acquired Bramin GmbH, a company that sells baling presses. Interzero intends to expand its portfolio and offer small and medium-sized companies additional services.

More than 4,000 customers from the retail, wholesale, trade, craft, logistics and industrial sectors already use the Baling presses for compacting cardboard, paper and cardboard packaging (PPK), film, polystyrene and other materials used primarily as transport packaging. In addition to baling presses, Bramin offers its customers both the purchase and collection as well as the direct marketing of pressed secondary raw material bales.

The company also offers a All-round service for the machines themselves, such as advice, maintenance, repair and training. Customers benefit from the optimisation of internal processes and the disposal chain as a whole: on the one hand, the compact design of the machines allows them to be set up directly at the collection point. This eliminates the need for collection containers and reduces travelling times. Secondly, the materials compacted into compact bales require less storage space. This reduces the space required at the collection point and also enables more efficient transport to the recycler.

„With Bramin, we are expanding our service portfolio in a targeted manner. While Interzero's baler sales activities have so far mainly been abroad, the acquisition now also enables us to enter the German market. In addition, we at Interzero tend to serve larger customers. With Bramin, we can also address medium-sized companies that generally do not have the internal resources and specialised knowledge to focus on efficient and sustainable waste disposal processes. With our offering, we help to realise untapped potential.“

The use of modern technologies to increase quality and efficiency is an important pillar of the digitalisation strategy of Interzero. The high degree of mechanisation of the balers offered by Bramin enables interfaces to existing Interzero digital tools such as the Zero Waste Manager. Because the Balers can be optionally equipped with IOT functions. can be used. This enables the customer to Query machine status and waste quantities and perform data-based analyses. A pilot project has already shown that the automatic collection of bales based on machine data can lead to further increases in efficiency.

„We have succeeded in finding a smart, comprehensive and forward-looking succession solution for Bramin. For me as the founder, it was important to find a buyer who fits in with us and the company, who appreciates the company's values and who can take Bramin to the next level. Interzero, with many years of expertise in sustainable and customised recycling and closed-loop management and the vision of a world without waste, is the ideal new owner for Bramin and its customers.“
