The Linhardt Group will not be selling the Hambrücken site after all. As the company announced, the shareholders' meeting has decided, following a structured investor process, to continue operating the site within the corporate group. The focus will be on preserving the expertise in the field of plastic tubes and the long-term stability of the site. At the same time, CEO Johannes Schick is leaving the corporate group by mutual agreement.

According to Linhardt, a „promising solution“ for the site had already been developed as part of an investor process. They were convinced they had found a suitable strategic partner for future development. Nevertheless, the owner family, after intensive consultations, against the sale decided. The Hambrücken site will therefore remain part of the Linhardt Group.

Focus on plastic tubes and site development

As the announcement makes clear, the decision was primarily driven by the preservation of specific expertise in plastic tube production and the long-term future viability of the site. Furthermore, the company refers to a „responsible, long-term approach“ towards employees, customers, and partners.

In parallel, the site's independence within the plastics division is to be further strengthened. According to Linhardt, organisational adjustments and targeted development measures are already underway. From 24 March 2026, Helmut Kohlmeier will be managing director responsible for Linhardt Hambrücken GmbH.

Johannes Schick leaves Linhardt

At the same time, the Linhardt Group announced that Johannes Schick's roles as CEO and Managing Director of the corporate group resigned with effect from 28 May 2026 and has left the company. According to the owner family, Schick significantly shaped the group's development over the past seven years.

Projects highlighted by Linhardt include, among others, the strategic positioning of aluminium tubes for the pharmaceutical industry, which according to the company has led to global market leadership, the acquisition of the Indian Pioneer Group as well as various digitalisation and automation projects at the group's sites.
