
At Anuga in Cologne, the Frischpack Group will be presenting sustainable packaging solutions for an extensive range of cheeses. The aim of the products and solutions is also to make a contribution to environmental protection.
In addition to plastic-reduced solutions, the focus is on recyclable composite and mono-materials for cheese slices and pieces as well as grated cheese. These are available in all variations demanded by the market: for example as Thermoforming tray, grated cheese and stand-up pouches, flow pack and pocket bag. The Group's vision is that, in a few years' time, the majority of bio-based materials are used, i.e. compostable packaging made from renewable raw materials.
With its range of cheese specialities, the Frischpack Group everything from a single source for your customers in the food retail/discount, food service, industry and co-packing sectors. Current trends will take centre stage at Anuga. In addition to organic quality, more and more people are favouring plant-based food. Since 2015, there have been 50 per cent more vegans in Germany and the number of vegan restaurants has quadrupled since 2013.
For the production of its successful vegan products, Frischpack has invested in a new production facility in recent months. own disc and friction line invested. This is located in a room that is completely separate from the rest of the production facility and can now also be used by co-packing customers.
