Pet owners are increasingly concerned not only about feeding their pets consciously, but also about the sustainability of their pet food packaging. Mondi and Fressnapf have worked together to develop a recyclable monomaterial solution for the dry food range.
The dry food range of the exclusive SELECT GOLD brand from Feeding bowl | Maxi Zoo is now available in the bags FlexiBag Recyclable, BarrierPack Recyclable and Recyclable StandUp Pouch from Mondi packaged. These Mono-material packaging solutions offer strong barrier properties to protect against moisture, grease and odours and are both robust and flexible to pack and store.

As from the Institute Cyclos-HTP certified, the mono-material packaging is recyclable with other mono-polyethylene (PE) films, whereby various existing recycling streams throughout Europe can be utilised. The adaptability of the packaging enables Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo rund Create 150 packaging designs from 300 g to 12 kg. All packaging sizes offer a long shelf life and ease of use for the consumer.

Mondi maintains a Ongoing partnership with Fressnapf | Maxi Zoo. The new SELECT GOLD range features a extended colour space printing and a new screen technology from U.Günther and ensures sharp text and images on the packaging. The innovative process consumes fewer colours and eliminates chemicals in panel production. As the colours do not have to be changed for each design, the transition from one design to another is faster and more efficient.
