Change at the top of the Syntegon Group

The Syntegon Group, a leading global supplier of process and packaging technology, has appointed Torsten Türling as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The Syntegon Group has appointed Torsten Türling as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He succeeds Dr Michael Grosse, who will leave the company by mutual agreement on 31 October 2023 after three and a half years as CEO.

With Torsten Türling, Syntegon has gained a growth-orientated strategist with a strong focus on implementation. He brings with him more than 30 years of international management and sales expertise and has extensive CEO experience at the head of well-known listed and private companies.

Most recently, he was CEO of Nilfisk, a leading global, publicly listed manufacturer of professional cleaning equipment based in Denmark. During his tenure, he initiated the strategic realignment of the company and made significant progress in terms of growth and sustainability.

Previously, as CEO, he was responsible for the successful turnaround of Ideal Standard International. He held various management positions at Linde AG and, as Managing Director of Linde Refrigeration, led the successful integration into Carrier Corporation following the spin-off.

He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Saarbrücken and a master's degree in management from the EM Lyon Business School in Lyon.
