Thilo Klein has taken over as ICPP Chairman

Thilo Klein, a manager at Schütz, is the new Chairman of the International Confederation of Plastics Packaging Manufacturers (ICPP).

Thilo Klein is the new Chairman of the International Confederation of Plastics Packaging Manufacturers (ICPP). The Head of Product Approval and Regulation at the metal and plastics processing company Schütz from Selters succeeds Jerry Geyer on a rotational basis.

During the General Assembly of the ICPP In March, the delegates from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas also confirmed Dave Lind and Chris Tatz as Vice Presidents. In accordance with the statutes, the ICPP secretariat is provided by the German Industrial Association for Plastic Packaging (IK) led. IK Managing Director Dr Jürgen Bruder is also Secretary General of the ICPP.

The next General Assembly of the international organisation, which will hold a Consultative status with the United Nations will be in the USA in spring 2019.
