New approaches for companies, for sales and for packaging development are at the centre of the 12th German Packaging Congress. The packaging industry's networking summit will take place on 23/24 March in Berlin. There are still a few places available for the three expert workshops on the second day of the congress.
„Reflect. Rethink. Think ahead.“ The fundamental motto of the German Packaging Congress will once again be the programme in 2017. „The congress is a networking and industry summit. It focuses on strategies, trends and best practice and traditionally combines a view of the big picture with concrete offers for specific solutions,“ says Winfried Batzke, Managing Director of the organising German Packaging Institute (dvi).
Congress topics
The agenda includes presentations by Stora Enso and Schur Pack on new ways of The company. Experts from the Franklin Covey Leadership Institute and Antalis Verpackungen discuss new approaches to leadership. Distributionb. To find new ways in the Packaging developmentThe contributions from Reishunger, Berlin Organics and Hensen Consult will focus on this topic. The conclusion of the first day of the congress offers a look beyond packaging. Dr Pero Mićić, CEO of FutureManagementGroup AG and one of the most renowned experts for Future management, talks about ways out of the short-term trap. He shows a simple yet effective way of shaping your own future and that of your company with vision and realisation. His offer: Awaken the future manager in you and shape your future today.
Workshops
Compliance, pricing and customer relations are at the centre of the expert workshops that make up the second day of the congress. Under the heading „Helping customers to succeed - creating win-win situations“ Dr Müller-Gensert, Practice Leader at FranklinCovey, shows how sustainable business relationships can be built, especially in a digitalised world.
To „Compliance in the SME sector - a practical guide“ is the topic of the workshop held by Dr Martin Schmidt, Partner at Reimers Schmidt Rechtsanwälte. „In numerous discussions with our members, we have realised that compliance is still uncharted territory for many companies. This is where we want to provide information and support. Not least because the authorities have become much stricter in prosecuting compliance offences since the turn of the millennium,“ says Winfried Batzke, explaining the workshop offering for congress participants.
The third workshop is entitled „Pricing turned on its head?“. Dr Daniel Bornemann, Partner at Simon-Kucher & Partner, will present the current trends in pricing in the packaging industry. He will show ways out of the commodity trap, how to successfully sell added value and deal with tenders, and illustrate how services can be successfully used to increase profits.
