Rea Elektronik will be presenting solutions for direct printing, labelling and verification from a single source at Anuga FoodTec. With its solutions, the company wants to prepare the industry for the future.
The leap into the new information age requires a High-quality labelling - and the certainty that the codes are complete and legible. The full-range supplier offers all of this Rea Electronics from a single source. He has been successfully transferring the expertise he has gained in the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry to the food sector for a long time. Rea Elektronik will be showcasing excerpts from its coordinated product lines Rea Jet for non-contact digital printing, Rea Label for industrial labelling systems and Rea VERIFIER for code verification at the Anuga FoodTec 2024.
High-contrast and equally reliable labelling printing on absorbent substrates such as paper, cardboard or wood and smooth surfaces such as coated and finished packaging: this is made possible by the new piezo-based labelling technology Rea Jet Up. UP stands for „Universal Print“, because the system is a multi-talent. It can mark with a wide variety of inks, from oil-based and slightly solvent-based to light-curing inks for materials on which no other would dry. This also makes labelling with the newcomer ideal for Secondary packaging that is both attractive and informative should be. Rea Jet Up prints at print heights of up to 108 mm per cascadable print head and with a resolution of up to 1,600 dpi - even small characters are very easy to read. And like all Rea Jet systems, Rea Jet Up also supports Industry 4.0 processes and integrates seamlessly into production.
The other systems that Rea Elektronik will be exhibiting at Anuga FoodTec can also fulfil the Digitalisation and modernisation of the industry drive sustainability forward. Like the Rea Jet HR 2.0, whose high-resolution direct printing can contribute to greater sustainability in the company. Its inks are solvent-free. With its wet-on-wet technology, it also creates easily legible codes and markings in a single step in a self-printed colour mirror - on absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces. This enables the No labelling of transparent or coloured plastic packaging, for example and thus their sorted disposal.
Visitors to Anuga FoodTec 2024 will also find solutions for labelling requirements at the Rea Elektronik stand: a Rea Label print dispenser, the Rea Label ColorJet 2, a compact colour label printer for small and medium quantities „on demand“, and the Rea Label 5-colour label printer for exceptionally brilliant, UV-stable and scratch-resistant labels that set the product apart from the competition. Also on show: the stars of the VERIFIER family - the Rea VeriCube and the Rea VeriMax for reliable code verification, mobile and inline.
