The reverse vending specialist Tomra Collection is now launching the innovative RollPac compacting system on the German market. The first vertical one-way return system is designed to increase the collection capacity for disposables by around 30 per cent in a compact space and reduce the workload of store staff.
The system was for the use of existing roll container infrastructure of the retail trade. Thanks to its vertical design, the Tomra RollPac requires less floor space and thus frees up space in the warehouse, for example for the return of returnable goods. Thanks to its high level of flexibility, it fits into almost any store architecture and offers new solutions for special areas. Tomra RollPac has a 30 per cent higher collection volume for non-returnable containers. The system is also suitable for small to medium-sized stores.
RollPac technology is the first compacting system that is suitable for roll containers, which are already used by many retailers in this country for transporting goods. Due to the high capacity, the containers changed around 24 per cent less frequently, which also increases availability for consumers. Replacing containers is much easier and quicker than with comparable solutions. The often time-consuming and strenuous task of moving full collection bags is no longer necessary - with the Tomra RollPac can be changed by any person, This makes day-to-day work much easier for the store team and significantly improves employee satisfaction.
Thanks to its innovative design, the Tomra RollPac fits into almost any store architecture and can be optimally adapted to the architectural requirements on site during planning. For example, it is possible to position the compactor module on the right or left, directly behind the vending machines or further back in the storage area. Even with the The system is customisable for emptying options. This can be to the side, forwards or backwards. The use of curves is also possible if this is required by the individual conditions of a store. The RollPac technology is compatible with the Tomra T9 and Tomra R2 front vending machines, which will be launched on the market this year. Existing roller conveyor or bottle collection tables can continue to be used.
