glasstec and the „Glass Performance Days“ (GPD) conference are entering into a strategic partnership to further promote the exchange of knowledge and cooperation in the glass industry. The two events will alternate annually to focus on innovations and sustainable solutions.
The aim of the cooperation is to Knowledge exchange and networking in the glass industry in order to drive forward sustainable innovations. The latest technologies and research results will be presented at both events in alternating years. glasstec 2024 in Düsseldorf will focus on Digital technologies, decarbonisation and the circular economy focus. Over four days, trade visitors can discover innovative solutions for the glass industry. Lars Wismer, Director of glasstec, explained:
„We look forward to strengthening the link between the world's leading trade fair for the glass industry and GPD. Together we can promote the exchange of knowledge and offer established companies and start-ups the opportunity to present their latest innovations.“
The GPD, which will take place in Tampere, Finland, in June 2025, brings together industry experts to share insights and ideas. Marko Mökkönen, Director of Sustainability at Glaston, emphasised:
„The GPD has decades of experience in connecting experts who challenge each other to find new ways to grow the industry.“
