A UniPak container with sieve insert from RPC Superfos is used to pack a new range of seafood products in salt water and oil. The mussels, prawns, squid and seafood cocktails from Santa Bremor, a leading seafood producer in Belarus, benefit not only from the practical design of the packaging, but also from its novelty value, which sets it apart from the competition.
The UniPak from injection-moulded polypropylene is easy to open and close and has a liquid-tight snap-on lid and a visible anti-tamper lock as standard. The custom-fit strainer insert is made of the same high-quality material as the pack. The razor-sharp photo quality of the In-mould labelling process applied artwork contains a Infographic, explaining the advantages of the screen insert to customers.
Angelina Averina, Brand Manager at Santa Bremor, emphasises that the pack helps to maintain product quality. „We opted for the pack with a strainer insert because it makes it easy for consumers to remove some product from the container and leave the rest in the brine or oil for later consumption. Our product stays juicy, tastes better and stays fresh for longer when stored in the liquid in the fridge. In this way, the packaging protects the quality of our preserved seafood product, even after opening,” she explains.
Preserves for the target market
Santa Bremor's new seafood range consists of a variety of the most popular canned seafood products for the main markets including Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Moldova. The selected 500g UniPak version has a diameter of 95mm.
