The market is not only characterised by supply bottlenecks and raw material shortages, but rising energy prices are also causing problems for many manufacturers. As a consequence of the current developments, some companies are raising their prices. This now includes the paint and adhesives company Actega.
The company, based in Wesel in the Lower Rhine The company announced a price increase for water-based coatings with effect from 1 February 2022.
These price increases are a necessary and direct consequence of the escalating costs associated with manufacturing products in Europe, including the cost of raw materials, transport, packaging and energy.
