Tetra Pak, the supplier of food processing and packaging systems, has a new CEO. Adolfo Orive has been appointed by the Tetra Laval Group Board of Directors as the new President and CEO of Tetra Pak with effect from 1 April 2019.
Adolfo Orive becomes successor to Dennis Jönsson. He exercised the management function at Tetra Pak for 14 years and had been with the company for a total of 36 years.
The new man at the helm of Tetra Pak has also been with the company for a long time. He joined in 1993 and has already held several management positions in the Group. He currently still holds the position of Cluster Vice President North Central and South America. He has been a member of the Tetra Pak Global Leadership Teams.
Responsibility for 24,000 employees
The 55-year-old Mexican can look back on a sound education in economics. At the Ibero-American University (IBERO) in Mexico, he earned a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. His Master's degree in business administration He studied at the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM).
As head of Tetra Pak, Adolfo Orive is responsible for 24,000 employees. The company's products are sold in over 160 countries.
