Sidel is presenting a new aseptic filling system for the growing market for sensitive beverages in PET bottles at Drinktec 2022. The integrated stretch blow-moulding/filling/capping solution is a further development of the Aseptic Combi Pedis technology.
The Aseptic Predis X4 is an integrated stretch blow-fill-seal solution that includes Predis consolidated preform dry sterilisation, making it ideally suited to the growing market for sensitive beverages in PET bottles. It is based on Sidels proven and popular aseptic technology and integrates design and digitalisation innovations.
The Aseptic Predis X4 was developed by Sidel designed to help the customer to growing market for healthy and nutritious drinks with a long shelf life, such as juice, nectar, soft drinks, isotonic drinks and tea as well as liquid dairy products. Demand for these products is expected to reach a volume of 192 billion units by 2024, 44 per cent more than in 2011. Sensitive products account for 55 per cent of the non-alcoholic beverage market and the expected growth of this share (annual growth rate of 2.3 per cent for 2019-25) is higher in PET bottles than in other materials. The Aseptic Predis X4 is presented to the public presented for the first time at Drinktec 2022; This is followed by a progressive deployment plan for the individual application areas and regions.
