Avery Dennison launches new sustainable label papers

Avery Dennison is launching three white, uncoated papers made from 100 per cent recycled fibres, expanding its range of high-quality sustainable labels.

Avery Dennison is launching three white, uncoated papers made from 100 per cent recycled fibres, expanding its range of high-quality sustainable labels.

With the introduction of three new papers, the Made from 100 percent recycled fibres Avery Dennison is expanding its portfolio of sustainable labels. These white, uncoated, wood-free papers have the same look, feel and performance as conventional materials and are all wet-strength. The new papers are particularly suitable for wine, spirits, craft beer, premium food and beverages and cosmetics.

The new papers include rNaturel Touch Craft, a thick paper with a cotton-like texture for a handcrafted, traditional look. Suitable for large print runs are rNoble Blanc, a matt paper with a felt-like surface and the smooth, matt paper rSable Blanc.

Avery Dennison solutions improve the eco-balance

According to the company, combining the new recycled papers with other sustainable solutions from Avery Dennison can further improve the eco-balance of a product. Thus semi-gloss rMC paper an efficient option for back labels and is made from 100 per cent recycled fibres. For labels that require strong performance in the ice bucket, rPLUS underlaminate can be used, which consists of 70 per cent recycled material to make the complex construction as sustainable as possible.
