The top models of the Master technology will take centre stage at the 2019 Bobst Meerbusch Expert Days. The supplier of systems and services for packaging and label manufacturers is inviting customers and interested parties to the in-house exhibition at its Competence Centre in Meerbusch from 3 to 5 April 2019.
On all three days of the event - starting at 10 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. - the programme addresses both the folding carton and corrugated board industries. Visitors can expect a mix of Machine demonstrations, lectures and hands-on sessions as well as individual machine tours. The presentations will focus on topics such as Bobst Meerbusch New training programmes specially developed for machine operators in collaboration with customers.
„In the processing of high-quality corrugated board into packaging, the requirements for quality, performance and reliability have become comparable in many areas to those in folding carton production. In flatbed die-cutting as well as folding and gluing, the converting processes have many common denominators.“

Die-cutters and folder-gluers are demonstrated live
During the machine demonstrations in the mornings, there will be live demonstrations of the Flatbed die-cutting „Mastercut 106 PER“ and „Mastercut 1.7“ on the programme. The latter machine is equipped with „Loader“ and „Breaker“. The peripheral devices for loading and depanelling ensure greater productivity in punching processes for the production of Corrugated cardboard packaging.
The afternoons will be followed by live demonstrations of the Folding carton gluing machines „Masterfold 75“ and „Masterfold 230“. The type 75 machine is equipped with an „Easyfeeder 4“ pre-feeder and a fully automatic „Cartonpack 4“ packing system. On the other machine, Bobst Meerbusch will be presenting the performance of the „Speedpack“ automatic packaging system for the first time in Germany. This processes many different types of cartons made of various materials, including double-walled corrugated cardboard.

The Mastercut 106 PER and Masterfold 75 will be used to demonstrate how quickly job changes can be carried out and how short the set-up times are. In the afternoons, the digital test table „Digital Inspection Table“ and the „Hybrid Setter“ from Boxplan for the production of punching tools.
