Innovation is often the result of co-operation. For example, the two companies Buhl-Paperform and Lindner Verpackungen have joined forces to develop a paper-based sliding box as an alternative to foam.

Buhl-Paperform GmbH and Paul Lindner GmbH, two packaging companies from Germany, have joined forces to a 100 per cent paper-based alternative to conventional foam sliding boxes to create.

Two-part system

Buhl-Paperform has many years of experience in the field of paper-based moulded fibre development and Lindner Verpackungen contributes its expertise in the field of solid and corrugated board to the cooperation. As a previous solution provider of foam sliding cartons, Lindner Verpackungen also offers the Market proximity and an established sales network. With this combination of expertise, know-how and customer proximity, a new type of solution has been created that offers the market a one-to-one replacement and thus enables a quick and easy changeover for customers.

The L-BOXeco is a sustainable paper-based standard packaging system. The solution is based on a two-part system consisting of a corrugated cardboard sleeve with an integrated fibre cast fuser insert. In future, sales will be handled exclusively by Paul Lindner GmbH in Hersbruck. The development will be presented for the first time at the companies' joint trade fair appearance at LogiMat in Stuttgart from 25 - 27 April 2023.
