Cabka is exhibiting its reusable transport packaging at this year's interpack. The portfolio includes large load carriers and pallets made from recycled plastic.
Cabka's focus on the interpack are customised products. „We are looking forward to talking to customers at the trade fair,“ says Ignacio Castellano Montoro, Vice President Customised Solutions at Cabka. „We can best demonstrate our expertise in the development of customised reusable transport packaging made from recycled plastics through personal exchange."
One of the products presented is the CabCube 3.0, a foldable large load carrier with basic dimensions of 1,235 x 830 millimetres and an internal volume of 722 litres, which can be folded to a fraction of its volume when empty. This reduces the storage space required for return transport by 75 per cent and is an alternative to the Euro metal mesh box. The CabCube 3.0 is injection moulded from recycled PCR.
Customised solutions
Cabka is also developing pallet solutions that meet the requirements of the circular economy, such as the new Retail E5.3 order picking pallet. The nestable plastic pallet offers companies in the food industry an alternative to Euro wooden pallets for picking and transporting goods to shops. The user can easily integrate the Retail E5.3 into the logistics process. The pallet circulates between the distribution centre and the salesroom and, according to the company, manages more rounds than a wooden exchange pallet. The Retail E5.3 does not require the usual runners. The lightweight design is easy on employees' backs when lifting and carrying.
In addition to the products that Cabka develops for individual customers, the broad standard portfolio will also be on display at the trade fair. „The retail range is an example of how innovative customer solutions can set a new industry standard„, says Naiara Loroño, Vice President Portfolio Sales & Marketing at Cabka. „Today, this range is part of our comprehensive load carrier portfolio.“
