At Fachpack, Cabka is presenting a foldable large load carrier on castors that reduces the ecological footprint and CO2-emissions during transport and logistics in the retail sector. Another new product is the Euro E7.2 plastic pallet.
A novelty at the trade fair stand of Cabka is the CabRoll, which the company has developed for the retail trade for picking products. This three-part foldable large load carrier on castors is ergonomic to handle. The user can easily load and unload the flexibly adaptable container even in confined aisles.
The containers ensure efficiency gains in transport and logistics and fulfil the requirements of the circular economy. Above all, the CabRoll increases the efficiency of return logistics. The units provide good protection for the goods being transported, resulting in less product damage and waste. Two hinged, reinforced shelves are fitted inside the container. A fold-out shelf is also provided on one short side.
The solution enables users to reduce their logistics and storage costs and protect the environment at the same time: The CabRoll consists of Made from 100 per cent high-quality, recyclable plastic and is designed for extreme user-friendliness. This makes the large load carrier durable, robust and sustainable.
Safe transport of goods
Another highlight in Nuremberg is the new Euro E7.2 pallet, which makes intralogistics faster, safer and more reliable. Cabka has developed the 3-skid plastic pallet in this way, that it comes as close as possible to the dimensions and load-bearing capacity of a Euro wooden pallet. This means that the Euro E7.2 pallet can be easily integrated into logistics circuits that are customised for standard wooden pallets. The user does not have to additionally adapt stoppers, light barriers and sensors in the conveyor systems. Companies benefit from greater process reliability and lower overall costs.
The Euro E7.2 offers a long service life even at high circulation rates and reduces process downtimes. Sharp edges and wood splinters, which can damage goods and conveyor systems, are a thing of the past. In addition, Euro E7.2 pallets retain their material value at the end of their service life. They are 100 per cent recyclable and can be reprocessed by Cabka into new pallets.
The Euro E7.2 pallet has dimensions of 1,200 x 800 x 150 millimetres and is almost identical in construction to a Euro wooden pallet. It is designed for loads of up to 7,500 kilograms and carries loads of 1,250 kilograms in the high rack. Anti-slip strips and holders ensure stable and safe handling of the goods and greater stability when stacking and transporting. Closed runners enable smooth transport in automatic conveyor systems.
