Interzero is a Solution provider for closing product, material and logistics cycles and innovation leader in plastics recycling with the largest sorting capacity in Europe. Under the guiding principle of „zero waste solutions“, the company supports over 50,000 customers across Europe in the responsible handling of recyclable materials, helping them to minimise their own waste. Improve sustainability performance and conserve primary resources.
On the Fakuma Interzero will be demonstrating, for example, how HDPE blow-moulded bottles for detergents, cleaning agents and cleaning products can now be made from 100 percent polyethylene sorted fractions from the Yellow Bag using a patented process. „Recyclates from Interzero already cover a wide range of products and many other applications are still possible. As a pioneer in the industry, Interzero provides solutions for the entire plastics cycle.“
Dr Ulrich Kückelmann, Senior Sales Professional at Interzero Plastics Recycling
Interzero Plastics Innovations carries out the necessary development and analysis work for customised recycled plastics. The experts at the company's own competence centre for plastics recycling in Maribor, Slovenia examine not only the materials and design of the packaging, but also the practical sortability, for example, which they also certify with the „Made for Recycling Interseroh+“ label. The competence centre is the only state-accredited research facility in the EU based on the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory standard that specialises in the development and analysis of recycled plastics.
„In our view, sustainable innovations are the right way to achieve the goals of the EU Plastics Strategy and successfully expand the circular economy in Europe.“
