At Interpack 2026, SEW-Eurodrive presented the OrchestrationSuite, a powerful tool for central, manufacturer-independent software management in automation technology. The solution enables the use of modern IT methods in an OT environment, creates high security standards, and ensures transparency.
The web-based platform enables lean, flexible processes with full transparency across the entire lifecycle in the software-defined factory of the future.
The platform provides numerous AI-powered and user-friendly functions and is continuously being developed. As a special highlight, SEW-Eurodrive presented AI-powered PLC code generation live for the first time at Interpack. Function descriptions can be entered in natural language and, within seconds, translated into optimised, production-ready control code, automatically compiled, and prepared for software distribution.

This function opens up new possibilities for automation and significantly accelerates development processes. AI-assisted documentation and automated version analyses also ensure transparent and understandable preparation of code changes.
Security through the Zero Trust principle
The OrchestrationSuite relies on the Zero Trust principle to ensure maximum security. Every access is strictly controlled, and users as well as applications only receive the rights they actually need. The central management of identities and the protection of access credentials are essential. Furthermore, through „Compliance by Design,“ the platform meets regulatory requirements for compliance and cyber resilience, making it a secure foundation for modern OT environments.
Efficiency through DevSecOps and CI/CD
The platform was developed according to DevSecOps principles: it combines Development (Dev), IT Operations (Ops), and Security (Sec) and offers central version control, structured releases, and CI/CD pipelines that transfer proven IT standards to industrial automation. This sustainably accelerates development processes and allows software changes to be safely deployed or rolled back if necessary. Tracking code changes reduces downtime and minimises recovery effort.
SEW-Eurodrive's OrchestrationSuite represents a technological foundation for the software-defined factory of the future. It combines DevSecOps with AI-powered engineering, creating a scalable, cross-manufacturer platform that makes the production landscape adaptive and continuously optimisable. This not only makes the packaging industry more efficient but also future-proof.
